The Red Lion opens again to the public this Saturday 9th February after a complete refurbishment. Berkshire Bloggers were invited down to the press evening on Wednesday 6th February for gin cocktails, food and a lot of fun.
We started off at the gin bar station where we made our own delicious fruit gin cocktails! This was a definite highlight and the perfect start to the evening.
The food was amazing, the extensive menus range from the amazing Roasted Pork Belly to Battered Halloumi, to Seared Salmon Fillet. They even have a full Vegan menu and plenty of vegetarian options.

The members of staff were attentive but not over bearing and very helpful with helping us to decide what to order. The cheesecake for dessert went down a treat. Would 100% recommend to anyone with a sweet tooth or anyone in general being honest!

So whether you’re coming for a fancy meal, a quick bite, or just a drink, the Red Lion Stoke Poges has everything you would want. Don’t just take our word for it head down this weekend and see for yourself. And if the portion sizes are anything to go by the Sunday roast will be out of this world.
